So much for the originally intended format... Here is one dirty sweet rave anthem! Its probably been blogged to death at this point, but if you haven't heard then now is your chance to check it out. Felix Cartal is building quite a name for himself in the current French electro circuit. He did an amazing remix of Moving Units recently and there is a lot of cool stuff in the works on his part. My new mix has tracks from Digitalism, Ladytron, Soulwax, Shinichi Osawa, Presets, Dusty Kid, Timbaland, and others. I think this is a good representation of what goes down at my Pop Noir residency in San Diego. Its Maystar's monthly 18+ indie electro dance party at the Static Lounge downtown. Its really fun, there is a fashion show and a large eclectic mix of people with the sole mission of dancing. We've had a bounce house, birthday parties, lots of clothing giveaways and this friday we have a costume contest for our halloween party. Come hang out and dance!!
